As of January 1st 2013 Elana bv has become part of the newly founded Brain Technology Institute (BTI). The founding partners of this non-profit Institute are the UMC Utrecht, University Hospital Zürich and University Health Network Toronto. We are looking forward to welcoming more partners this coming year. The mission of the BTI is the improvement of quality of life for people with neurovascular diseases by maintaining a leading edge in bypass research and through the development and making available of unique therapies for patients in selected excellence centers. Elana will continue the manufacturing of the Elana Surgical Kit. Together with the BTI it will develop new minimal invasive technologies for neurosurgeons and be engaged in education in this field.
